I am sending this thought on behalf of Headington Action, in appreciation of the contribution of Deepak and his family to the success of Headington Market, over the years. He will be much missed. Our heartfelt condolences to Gurdeep, and the rest of his family and friends.

I knew Deep from Headington Farmer's Market, where he would make a regular appearance on Saturdays with delicious Indian treats that have become my staple comfort food. Deep always had a warm smile and a joke for even the rainiest and windiest days, he'd always share small chocolates with people around Diwali. No request was ever too much, no personal anecdote was too boring or sad to share, your joy was his joy, and he was the impersonation of 'a problem shared is a problem halved'. Beyond it all, the briefest interaction with him was more than enough to learn he was an amazing person with a gentle soul. My warmest condolences to the family, I wish you all the strength and comfort through the times ahead.
